Beetroot soup



Peel and cut beetroot [1] into big chunks.

Heat butter [1tsp] in a pan.
Saute chopped garlic pods [2-3], onion [1/2], beetroot [1] for a minute.
Add one glass of water with salt and pressure cook for 10minutes.

Then blend it to soup consistency along with pepper [1tsp] and curd [2tbs]

Garnish with mint or cilantro leaves.

Diet tip: Avoid butter. Include in the diet plan - once a week.

  • Beetroot is rich in Vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus and iron
  • It detoxifies and cleanses the body
  • Purifies the blood
  • Reduces cholesterol and blood pressure
  • Aids liver function
