Pesarattu


Soak the whole green gram [1cup: to make about 10-12dosa] overnight.
Grind them with sufficient water, salt, red chillies [2] and cumin seeds [1tsp] to Adai batter consistency.
Separately mix chopped onions [1] and grated ginger [1/2tsp] in a bowl - - - This step is optional.
Heat the tava . Apply some oil on it.
Spread a ladle of batter on the tava.
Sprinkle the chopped onions-ginger mix on the dosa - - - This step is optional.
Flip the dosa and cook on other side too.

Serve hot with any coconut based chutneys.
