Paruppu thovayal





Serves: 2

You need:
Bengal gram dal/Kadala parupu – ¼ cup
Grated coconut – 3tbsp
Salt – as needed
water - as needed
Oil – 1tsp

Cooking:
Heat oil in a pan. Fry Bengal gram dal till it turns brown.
Cool and grind it with grated coconut and little salt to coarse paste. 
*While grinding, add water little by little to get the right consistency. 

                         


Serve with Kara kuzhambhu/Puli kuzhambhu.
