Cook Sura/Shark Fish [300gms] in water for 10minutes. Fish cooks faster. Strain the water.
Mash the cooked fish. Add turmeric powder [1tsp], salt and chopped cilantro leaves. Mix it well.
Heat oil [1/3cup] in a pan. Fry finely chopped onions [2 big ones], chopped green chillies [3 long ones], few curry leaves and chopped garlic [8-9pods]. Fry till the onions turn light golden brown in color.
Now add the cooked fish masala. Constantly stir the masala; otherwise it will stick to the pan. It will take approximately 10-12minutes and that depends on the quantity of fish used. Cook till the masala becomes powdery and light brown in color.
Garnish with cilantro leaves.
