Adai



Soak the following ingredients in water for 7-8hours:
  • Tiffin rice/Idli rice [1cup]
  • Black gram dal/urad dal [1/2cup]
  • Bengal gram dal/chana dal [1/2cup] 
  • Green gram dal [1/3cup]
  • Red gram dal/tuvar dal [1/4cup]

Then grind it coarsely along with red chillies [4] and salt in a mixer grinder. 
Keep it aside for minimum one hour. 
Add asafoetida/hing [1tsp] before making dosas. 
Add curry leaves and grated coconut to the batter ---- OPTIONAL
