Dry Pepper Chicken fry



Chop onions [2-3] and tomatoes [1].
  • Heat oil [4tbs] in a pan. 
  • Fry fennel seeds [1tsp], cloves [2-3] and chopped onions. Fry till it turns pink and oil oozes out. At this point, add chicken pieces [1/2kg], turmeric powder [1/4tsp], ginger garlic paste [1tbs], chopped tomatoes and salt.  Fry for 2-3minutes till water from chicken separates. 
  • Then add chilli powder [1tsp], coriander powder [1tsp], garam masala [1/2tsp], pepper powder [1tbs] and cumin powder [1/4tsp]. Wait until chicken pieces become tender – Close the lid and Cook in medium flame for about 15minutes. Slow cooking of meat gives you better taste. 
  • Finally garnish with cilantro leaves.

NOTE: No water must be added to the recipe.
