Mutton Chops


Clean the mutton pieces - 300grams - Use Bone pieces.
Grind coconut pieces [2tbs] with fennel seeds [1tsp] and keep it aside.

Heat oil [1tbs] in a pressure pan.
Saute cloves [4], cinnamon stick [1/2] and cardamom [1].
Fry sliced onions [1] for a minute. Add ginger garlic paste [1tbs] and green chillies [3].
Add mutton pieces, curd [3tbs] and salt. Cook till mutton leaves some water.
Add the powders - Turmeric powder [1/4tsp], Coriander powder [1tbs], Pepper powder [1tsp], Cumin powder [1tsp] and garam masala powder [1/4tsp]
Add water [1-2cups]. Pressure cook for 4-5whistles.

Once again heat oil [1tsp] in a pan.
Add few curry leaves and the cooked mutton masala.
Cook till the masala becomes dry.
Add ground coconut paste and cook for 2minutes in low flame.

Serve hot !
