Rava Kesari



  • Heat ghee [1tsp] and fry cashews. Keep them aside.
  • In the same pan, add ghee [2tsp] and Roast Rava [1cup] to light brown in color. Keep them aside. 
  • Boil water [2.5cups] with a pinch of orange coloring. 
  • When water boils and the bubbles appear, add roasted rava slowly and stir continuously for a minute. 
  • Wait till rava cooks. Add sugar [1.5-2cups] and Cook for sometime. 
  • When the kesari thickens, add ghee [4-5tsp] and cardamom powder [1/4tsp]. 
  • Garnish with fried cashews.
