Tomato Pulao



Cut tomatoes [2] into big chunks and grind it to fine paste with curd [2tbs]. 

Heat oil [2tbs] in a pan. 
Fry cloves[2], cinnamon [1], cardamom [1] and slit green chillies [1 long one]. 
Add sliced onions [1], ginger-garlic paste [1tbs] and fry till onion becomes transparent. 
Then add ground tomato paste, turmeric powder [1/4tsp], chilli powder [1/2tsp], garam masala powder [1/4tsp] and salt to taste. Cook till the raw smell goes off.  
Add fresh peas, few mint and cilantro leaves ----- OPTIONAL
Finally add basmathi rice [1cup] and water [1.5cups] and Pressure cook for 10minutes - 2whistles.
