Fruit Custard



TO PREPARE CUSTARD:


Boil milk [500ml] until it foams. Then reduce the flame to LOW. 
Take one cup of warm milk, add custard powder [1/4cup] little by little and mix in slowly without any lumps. 
Add this custard mixture and sugar [1/3cup] to the already boiling milk. 
Boil for 10 more minutes in the low flame. 
Keep stirring to avoid forming lumps and to get smooth consistency. 
Cool the custard and keep it aside. 


NOTE: Make sure the milk has at least 4% fat content to get creamy custard. 


FRUIT CUSTARD:


Add fruits [2 ½ cups] to the cool custard mixture. 
Add vanilla essence [1tsp] and mix well. 
Refrigerate for minimum 3-4hours. 


Before serving, add fresh cream [1/4cup], dates syrup [2tbs] and chopped chocolate pieces [1tsp]


Serve chilled !
